Pluck rugs are created with either acrylic or eco-sourced New Zealand wool yarn. Wool yarn is highly recommended for high-traffic areas of the household or business as the fibers are naturally stain-resistant and are bound tightly, making them much more durable that acrylic fibers as well as less prone to fraying. We always recommend wool yarn as to overall makes for a lifelong keepsake. Acrylic pieces are recommended for low-traffic and accent areas of the household or to be used as a wall hanging. Wool yarn colors are more natural in color and are limited compared to acrylic, but we do try and get as close to the proposed design color ways as possible, no matter which yarn you choose.
All commissioned rugs will start at and require a $450 deposit and final pricing will be based on the proposed design, size, amount of colors, beveling, and yarn used for your custom piece of art. We will communicate with you within 48 hours to lock down the plan for digital art and to collect the remainder of the deposit, if any is due. Deposits are non-refundable.
You will have the option to choose larger sizes and also options to have your rug shaped and beveled as well, which will really bring your rug to life.
